Re: gpro or beastx

Wile the gpro work if you plug it into a receiver? If it does, just do that.

Otherwise the beastx is a good option

BeastX...no wonder Align couples their super combos with a microBeast now!

Re: gpro or beastx

Find an AR7200 for that 600. Or get the new 7210 and for a few more $ have the option of getting rescue/bailout feature to help save you from a crash.

Re: gpro or beastx

There's a reason they dropped the gpro , wise choice.

Re: gpro or beastx

I have flown a gpro (not mine but someone elses) and it's not a bad FBL controller. In fact I think it was the best FBL controller that Align ever put out. Way better than the 3GX. I suspect that people were just too gun shy about the gpro because the 3g/3gx FBL controllers were so frustrating and had so many issues. People just didn't trust them any more. And yes, the gpro did accept satellites directly connected in.

I would say to fly whichever FBL controller you feel the most confidant in. Both will work fine.

Re: gpro or beastx

Hi
Align now supplying kits with beastx controllers in the package. I think they gave up developing the GPRO after v1.2 (1.3 was for Apple interface if I remember correctly)
My experience with GPRO below. I have 7 7200bx and 7300bx units. Bullet proof
And no software to worry about - just works.

Re: gpro or beastx

Bought the ar7300bx but didn't know it was for high voltage servos it puts out 8.4 my servos can only handle 6.4 the built in bec is nice going to keep it for the next build. I think i'm going to get ar7210bx and see how much the safe guard program is.
