got a hold of a e-flite blade cp. I have been flying the dual rotor (coaxial) style helis for a while now. I also have the G2 simulator that i have been practicing heli flight with. I also fly 3d planes with ease. Do you guys think that i should make the move and try to fly the Blade-CP? Or is that to much of a step up?? Has anyone flown the blade-cp as one of there first helis??

my brother bought one and he also bought real flight 2 so that he could learn to fly it...he can fly it on real flight but in real life he is really good at crashing it...very frustrating for him as he ended up giving it to me to fly so that I can then teach him. he will be picking up a coaxial heli though this week to try and hone his skills while I rebuild the blade.

Not necessarily.

If you want to go a step up, I would suggest going a little further... Try and get your hands on a belt driven tail helicopter... Reason - I started with a hummingbird with the motor on the tail and it never had enough power, so it always spun in circles no matter what I tried. So that kind of left a trust issue with the motor on the tail. hope it helps (although I have seen a few CPs fly with no problems)

Ah, go for it man. I have both and the CX is nice when I want to motor around without concentrating too much, but the CP is much more rewarding. Just spend time learning how to set it up properly and you'll be fine.
