I draw my own stuff!
I stop building kits for about 7 years ago! 95% of my models are from my own drawings - I use very old program Ashlar Drawingboard 2D drafting program and export to Autocad for laser cutting with Martin Rousseau. http://www.mraerodesign.com
I scratch the SPAD design ME109 for the MAAC Nats! - see MAAC website under combat for plans/instructions See the SHARK-E on MAAC mag build feature summer 07 My last scratch SPAD was a Junker D1 for the Kingston WW1 meet in Aug 07 My favorite thing that works as a great cheat for SPAD or RC is find a Peanut rubber plan and blow it for the size you want and then work out the rest with LAR - Looks about Right! The Junkers was a Fantastic Flying model! Wow! - Its getting a second look on the drawing board as a possibe wood version. Currently Iam working on a 1/4 scale drawing of a Goodyear racer "Hot Canary Bipe for .46) 52" and good for IMAA. The Orville 50" .25 size intermed trainer may get a new life with MR also it was a great flyer easy to build design. Ah who knows?
