new life for old wings?

ok..I got a few old wings kicking around from different planes that have met different fates, so I got a nice wing off an old Goldberg Cub, and I was thinking of a SPAD fuse and landing rear, and presto...new life for old wing.
has anyone done this? and what things should I do to make this work?

Thanks....Bill

I've used a Sig Kadet LT-40 wing to make a new trainer. The downspout fuse I used came up much lighter, and it made a great plane.

I just made guesses on surface sizes and fuse length... I just made it look similar to the original

Hope this helps,

Ben

I was just down in the shop dusting off the ol' cub wing (had 10 yrs of shed dust on it...yechhh) and I think this is gonna work fine.

I could get so much more done if I didn't have to got to work all the time!

I built a Frankin Spad last year with just the junk I had around the shack.
The Guys had a good laugh at it until I flew it. Flews great and I can try things I would not dare to try on my other planes. Just like flying a flight sim!

These pics shows a 25, I have since put a Super Tiger 40 in it.
