What did you have in mind?

Chad, you don't know that for sure.

I would suggest building a few kits first, and reading some good model airplane design books. Its not hard to design your own plane but you do need to learn the fundamentals of model construction first.

Or you can try a SPAD...

Building no experience

Hi Mig 15,

I notice you did not have your location listed at the left. If you can tell us where your from, perhaps we could put you in touch with an experience builder who could give you some advice, or help out.

Fly4Fun,

Wayne Miller

Just to clairify, are you talking about completely designing your own plane and then building it, or are you wanting to build from a kit or assemble an ARF......Please let us know?

It would help us give you the proper advise if we knew what you had in mine Mig 15.

At one point or another all of us started out with little or no experience and you've got to start somewhere!

Follow the good advise you have received already and I would strongly encourage you as Andrew and Wayne have already done. Educate yourself by reading and observing and definitely search out a local club and ask for help from an experienced builder/pilot! You will find folks more than happy to help you out. It will make the whole experience so much more enjoyable for you. You will definitey gain the experience, and make some good friends along the way! Most important is the fact that in a club setting you will learn the right way to do things from the beginning. You will save time and money, save your sanity, and will do things SAFELY for your's and everyone elses well being!

Enjoy the experience to it's fullest, have fun, meet and make some great friends, and be safe!

I have flown before im usin gas ducted but i wana know if i can get some plans on wings like measurements
You've flown, but haven't built anything ? .. If you tell us where you are coming from (experience interests, etc,) and where you are trying to go (size, power, construction method, etc) you could be offered a lot more valuable advice. Right now everyone is shooting in the dark because it is not real clear what you are trying to do....

Wayne,

I don't see the above quote in his post and he hasn't edited anything so where did this quote come from?
