There is a small weight savings with one large pipe as opposed to the 2 - 35 cc pipes I have.

I am using some Hitec servos I had for the ailerons and elevators. And a 2231 on the rudder.

If i went 1270's all around and only 1 per aileron. I could save about 6 or 7 ozs. Plus reduced wires. Another 2 ozs.
I can switch the dubro wheels to Sullivan skylites. Saving another 3 or 4 ozs.
I could Redo the engine baffles in the cowl. Shave another ounce or 2.
I am using swb arms ( heavy ) LOL.
Go to secraft arms.
Also used 2 X 2700 Lipos today. The were charged. I plan to use 2 X 1350 Thunder power packs. Half the weight again.

I can easily remove another pound.

The plane flew well enough to warrant going the extra mile. I just might do that.

Lorne , maybe we will be talking
I commend you Brad on your enthusiasm to try this and now lighten it even more. Way to go. Love your Slick as well.

Hard to make a come-back if you've never been anywhere!
