I will be there with my rc10gr. Maybe my YZ-10 (but I wont race it unless there are more 4wd)

I could use some front tires.. but we will see how it goes.

:(

I'm unable to make it.

I'm in the middle of a house-move, renovations and selling my other place.

The biggest workout my Optima got was in the alleyway behind my new place.

Still, the 4wd, LRP speed control, and Reedy motor have it moving pretty quick. With the newer Trinity motor and some better gearing, I think I could smoke that RC10 tub

(best thing about my smack talk, is that I can't even show up to back it up)

It really does go quick though.

Get that ultima off the shelf and run that against the Old Gold...The 4wd Optima would never have run against RC10s...Even though we would have smoked that old Kyosho brick

MAN!

The Ultima is next up, though it only has the metal frame. I'm thinking about fabricating a graphite chasis for it similar to the world's champ version in 1988 (when Joel Johnson was using it to turn laps passed the past-their-prime RC10s).

But you are correct, the Optima would most likely shred the RC10, even if piloted by a -----poor driver such as myself

Tempted to bring out the Ultima/Turbo Ultima hybrid to spank at least one more gold tub Too bad I already promised a buddy I'd help him move this Saturday...maybe next time.

Ive actually got 2, the "shelf queen" is done but too nice to run. The other one, the "basher", is a complete kit waiting to be assembled and it will run at Sid's some day.

If I finish rebuilding the Egress/Avante 2001 in time I'll be there (be there regardless for the 2/4wd classes). I however can't seem to find the Tamiya alloy dampers for a decent price anywhere. I may have to use a set of tamiya yellow shocks for now.
Now where talking Old School! SO
