Just bought some new parts today in Calgary. Home depot is 9.67 for 4ft. of 1"x1/8"and no channel. Only in vinyl and I came out feeling like a dummy. Went to Can.tire basically across the road. U channel in 3' lengths
labeled for 3/4" ply a little over 5 bucks. The 1/8"x3'x1" was 4.49 for 3'. After being in there I felt like I was getting ripped off. The lady in Can.tire told me it was a standard number and you can get all you want. I bought 4 landing gear sets and 2 u channel. Have to wait for next stock order but I have enough for now. For anybody that is interested.John

I am interested to know how the SPA3D flies compared to the PQHOR, using the same engine and radio gear...

I guess I could build one and find out too!

Any chance you could get the number for the 3/4" u channel for me? I was told by the can tire here that they don't carry it but if I had a number they would order it for me. I would be forever indebted to you.

Looks like I'm gonna have to try a SPAD3D. It will be 4th down on the building list. Maybe for next year.

Jim, the picture of you Spad hovering is soo good, I can hardly tell it has been doctored.

What do ordinary people use the 1/8" x 1" x 3' for? I haven't seen it either, anybody got a part number for it?

Harold,
I should have put both numbers down. The 1/8"x1"x is 61-6432-0 and it is in 3' lengths. It is 4.59 and I save the chunk left over for other projects. The one at home was over 9.00 and that was 4'. Hope this helps you.
Don't you guys buy it all at once or they will never get anymore pass the Manitoba border.
John

I bought my aluminum channel at Home Depot. 5/8 in. on each side. 10 bucks for 8 ft., enough for 3 rails. 3 months worth of dork ins and a few props. A spinner is a good prop saver. The channel is for plywood edging also. They may be able to order it in for you. Hav'nt bent it yet but i'm trying.
