Hey Keith, I did not have to remove the tube, the older version came with the tube separate you had to install it. You would have to talk to Alex what it takes. You should see from the back how it is mounted there, do you really need to remove it? How is your balance? Your motor is really not that heavy.

Re: Euphoria F3J/F5J glider

1st balance check was OK, but the battery TP 1300 was all the way back in main opening an no room above servos if I want a bigger battery. If I can slide battery back w/o ballast tube in way I can have Rx. Battery more accessible in forward area etc...Justthinking about my options beforevI get too far.

Keith, 1300 battery is more than enough for at least three launches) You do not need more capacity, just have two-three batteries. Ballast sometime may play very important role, in competition especially. Make removable servo tray as I did and you can place Rx and BEC behind tray underneath of tube leaving rest of space for battery.

Re: Euphoria F3J/F5J glider

Yes, aiming to do maiden in spring or mild weather...:Go CAN::Go a

I posted I achieved 80 degrees flap (visual) but now that I actualy measured I am short, only about 65 degrees with a 10 mm servo horn.

I know anymore than 85 may be over kill but what deflection did you achieve, did you lower your servo horn, less than 10 mm ?
