Hmm...I always thought it was the boat guys who messed up other things...they are the ones who had a hard time understanding the concept of frequency conflicts..!

I got your pm..just haven't had time to respond. I will though.
I should have everything finalized by end of this week.
Following that I will build the jumps etc required.

I looking at a adjustable two level jump..(got an idea in mind already)

And a half pipe construct of some sort...looking for ideas on this one.

So once I have everything finalized then we will get together to practice a few times...

I would recommend that if your going to pick up equipment (and I fall into this category) that you do it within the next 3 weeks.

I'd like to have the show down for Oct 1..that will give us a month to sort out other details, and work on the exhibition.

Some of the problems we are running into believe it or not is getting dirt. I'm working on the layout so we can use dirt and sod, for our landings.
Why is this an issue..there are concerns about the dust, and other exhibits...(such as quilts!)

i dont think that is a good idea, plus, dirt only gets dusty when you let it dry out, and because we are indoors, we wont have to sunlight to dry it out as quickly

I was looking around ToyRUs and noticed they have a plastic skate board ramp noting really big maybe 6"-8" high 3 feet long and 2 feet wide for 49.99 plus tax, its called the X-Factor the only thing I don't really like about it is you would defiantly need to either nail it down or brace it from moving, it is very light....

Ok just a quick update. There was a small issue over the dirt.
I believe we've worked it out.

I will be posting our location once I receive the show layout.

I still need some volunteers. For the show, and booth.

I've got six so far. Lunytoon I've added you to the list (pending an electric vehicle.)

I'm looking for your videos...so if you have some and they are already being hosted somewhere email or pm me the link. I'll add it.
otherwise add me to your msn (roughnex40@hotmail.com) and next time you see me online you can send it too me.

Also I'm looking for pictures of members and their rides (in the same picture) which will be made into a video and displayed at the show...so be proud! You can just email those to me.

I will be putting building the ramps etc next week..hopefully..

Because of the dirt situation we will be required to bring set up and clean.
We've discussed sod..however if november permits we'll have no problems getting, if any of our members have contact...we plan on flipping it upside down that way it will be a nice base..easier to deal with, and much easier to transport...best thing is that the sod can be dead it doesnt matter as long as we can unfold it.

So once again if you have an electric and you have the weekend at your disposal or can assist us in any way please contact me by email or pm..(links below)
