Andrew,
Will get my old 35 out and shoot some a little later. They are a little rough yet but I figured having them machined then taking the dremel and file to clean them up while making other parts. There is a lot of time in them, but I figure with the setup now I could probably do one in 3 nights. I made a few mistakes to start, but to me everything is a learning process.
I think now it is time for the combustion chambers. I can see the drill press going into overtime. What did you make your spacers out of between the difuser and combustion chamber? What they say in the plans I believe is pc board or some type. Will get back to you probably tomorrow.
John

The spacers can be aluminum hex stock, what they use for spacing PC boards. I buy small 6061-T6 hex stock for other uses, if you need some let me know.

Andrew,
Got my camera working. Tried out some shots so these are the diffusers. They still need some file work and tapping.(holy cr*p) I just love tapping all these holes.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Since I now have a camera I will try to keep a little more up to date. This is also why I took a little break and redid my ldg. gear for the clunk. I take now about 1/2 hr each night and work on filing them. Actually I think they would work after reading some other comments on another forum.
Got an email from Sara today and things are starting to look good. Maybe lucky in a couple of weeks.
Question for you guys. Have you heard anything about brazing the vanes in the ngv. I read something on this and was wondering if any one else has. Apparantly the GT2000 is that way but I haven't checked yet. What I heard was they where having problems with the blades stress cracking at the roots when tigged.

Andrew,
Back to question time if it is okay.
1. On your combustion chamber did you tig weld after spot welding :
2. Installing the air tubes for the injectors. How did you do yours, silver solder or braze them :
I have one combustion chamber ready for the injector end cap to be put on and I made a jig to hold the tubes straight before installing. The end caps are all made but now I have to drill a bunch of holes. The sides are .015 ss and the end caps are .030 ss. Tried pressing the end caps with the thin ss but they split from the pressure and molding. Will take some pictures soon.
