OS FS 120 How do you get the piston wrist pin out? It has a hole in the case that lines up with the pin, but only on one side, so you can't push it through.
I am trying to put new bearings and rings in it.

AAH this is truly a piece of delightful engineering. There maybe a nylon button in a hole in the wrist pin. This will have to be picked out with a pin or some other useful tool. You will then see a hole through the wristpin. The theory is that a tapered piece of wood (Toothpick) forced into the hole will allow the wristpin to be pulled out through the hole in the case. You may be lucky. More often though the pin will be tight in the rod or the piston and will not come out. The solution then is to use a small diameter stud extractor (Easy Out} to remove the pin.

P.S.

I see you are in Caledonia. If the worst comes to the worst drive to Brantford and I will get it out for you.
