Nano CPX problem

My cpx won't take off. When at nearly full throttle and pitch it flips over to the left. The main gear is firmly in place, the spindle is good, servos travel correctly. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Nano CPX problem

Any vertical slop in the main shaft. if you hold the heli fuse, can you move the shaftup and down?

Sometimes after a bang, the main gear gets pushed down a bit allowing enough play to prevent enough positive pitch to take off.

Re: Nano CPX problem

Thanks for the reply.

There is no slop. I have the main gear pushed all the way up.

Re: Nano CPX problem

If you put the blades parallel to each other (both aligned with tail boom), turn on throttle hold, does the amount of pitch for up equal that of down? Measure the distance between the ends of the blades, they should be about equal.

Re: Nano CPX problem

When I put place the blades parallel with the tail boom the blades are side by side when pitch is 50%.

Re: Nano CPX problem

I assume you have no trim or sub trim on your aileron channel in your Tx? Other than that it sounds like your flight controller board is bad...

Re: Nano CPX problem

Yeah, I even started a new profile to make sure I had nothing funky in there. I am feeling that it's my main board. I guess next step is to find a board that isn't 90% the cost of a new cpx...

Thanks for the input on the matter.

Re: Nano CPX problem

They are ridiculously expensive, I thought I blew mine on my mcpx Bl a few weeks ago. Was relieved when I found it was just the tail motor. Otherwise would have chucked the heli...

Re: Nano CPX problem

I only have about a dozen flights on it as well. Got it to fly inside during cold weather. Didn't get much time on it... I'm going to try and inspect the board, see if i can find a broken pin or something. Shot in the dark, but I've got nothing to lose now I guess.
