well, it sure looks nice

but i haven't seen one either. i've asked about them, mentioned the good looks and supposedly completeness of the kits and the cheap price, and the old dogs tell me 'you get what you pay for'.

i really like em though, (and the super stearman i think they have)

let me know what you think of it if you get it

Building a Seagull PC9

Picked up one of these ARF's a couple of months ago, really complete and very nicely covered. Had to tighten up the wrinkes and secure the covering before opening up holes, its covered with good quality stuff though. Not too heavy and hinges are pinned. The construction is very nice and straight. I've CA'd the formers I could reach just to be sure. Will seal the tank area due to the hole in the f/w where the fuel tubing exits.(3/4" dia) Tail feathers line up nice and square with out any trimming. Only "ugly" is the gap between the spinner and cowl. The cowl is f/G and not too heavy. Nice thick airfoil on the wing, should slow up nicely and float on by. Wing halves matched perfectly but the main spar brace is loose and sloppy in the channels in the wing. Use LOTS of slow cure epoxy here to fill the gaps. Wing saddle area is a near perfect fit. Gotta like jig built planes.

Should fly ok nothing twisted or misaligned on this kit . Gotta wait till the snow melts. Nice lines on this one. The price cant be beat. Let you know how it flys when it warms up here.

I bought one of their Extra 300's. Surprisingly complete. A few wrinkles to iron out, but it went together pretty well- especially after I noticed the fine print that mentions the need for an exhaust extension. It is a real floater in the air...and the factory control throws were waaaaay to tame for me.

I checked the GH website

SEA11300 PC-9 Roulette ARF 169.99

not sure if the free MAAC shipping over $100.00 applies, I would call GH and check with them.

I'm looking at getting this plane but have a question about my Tx. I use a Jr Quattro (4 Channel, no dual rates or expo), Will this Tx be ok for the PC-9?

Thanks,

JR Quattro

Your radio will be fine... This aircraft is a glorified low wing trainer....You will need a "Y" harness and 5 servos for it ( there's 2 in the wing )....
Over all its a good sunday flying aircraft.....
