Good Started Helicopter for an 8 year old

My daughter wants to get a RC helicopter.

I've found a Thunderbird 2 channel in the US for $60 including shipping - is that a good option? Would you suggest something else? Is there somewhere in Canada I can get a "starter" HC?

She's buying this with her own money so we want to keep costs down.

Thanks, Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Walmart has a 2 channel RC helicopter at Toy section.. called AirHog Havoc Heli.. it's pretty cheap it flies well too. I thinks it's like less than $30.00
