So it looks like Kevin is going to have to share his pictures and impressions of the 28x. I've been on the back order list since June of last year but somehow did not end up in the first group of orders
 . The good news is the next shipment is supposed to arrive in 3 to 4 weeks...

Gordon,
I had no idea how many back orders they have. Apparently the demand is insane. They will need 3-4 months of solid production just to fill the back orders globally. Im surprised with so many radio systems now how many people want this one.

I'm glad there is the pent up demand as it makes me confident about JR's future in North America. I'm on the list for any 28x's that were reserved but not snapped up in this first wave.... I'll find out today or tomorrow if there are any left. It's ok though, it gives me some time to gather up and sell my DMS2 and DMSX stuff

 It's here! Just spent a couple of hours playing with the radio. I've been reading through a downloaded manual for the last few days and when I got home tonight there it was! It's going to take some time to absorb and learn all that this radio can do but all I can say right now is WOW  The pictures don't even come close to capturing how great the screen looks and I haven't even pulled off the protective screen cover yet!
