Re: Engine Testing Thread

Engineer says " You can't do that !! "

Mechanic says " Oh Yea !! Watch this !! "

Well I am a mechanic.. and I just finished doing a mod to and old super tiger 2000 25cc engine... It now runs on Gas.. with a Glow plug..

yup a glow plug..

first run she started up and ran not bad but had to keep the glow heater on it.. the next run changed the plug and now idles find and runs up pretty good without using the glow warmer .. just need to to a bit more adjustments.. and she should be good to fly...

Re: Engine Testing Thread

Hello Trevor,

On my next winter project around my AMR Extra260-43, I hesitate between these two power plan, 3W210TS-CS engine or ZDZ210B2RV-J?
I can not find much informations on the J-ZDZ210B2RV engine?
Are you able to give me some recommendations!

Yves

Re: Engine Testing Thread

Such a tough call Yves!!! I've seen them both run and not sure which one I'd choose!! Both are great. I don't think you can go wrong with either!!!

Re: Engine Testing Thread

Heum!

I get -2- differents propellers to test:
#1 - Bambula 2 blades 34x12
#2 - Mejzlik 3 blades 31x12

On canisters XL150!

What do you think.

Yves

Hi there
FYI there are two versions of the current ZDZ 210.
The one in the Picture is ZDZ 210B2-J with reed valves.
The other one is ZDZ 210B2RV-J with rotary valve.

OK, I make my choice with 3W210CS-TS.

Idle: 1,450 RPM
Top: 5,300 RPM
Propeller: Mejzlik 31x12x3 blades

No updates on here in 3 + YEARS.

Hoping I would find some Data on a DA35.

That data is for running engines. You need the "top shelf" data table!
I assume you are worried about your shelf not bearing the weight!
