After a lot of emails back and forth with the Keswick guys I was able to confirm they are not going to have a contest next year. We have been discussing having an early contest at WRCFC. Since we have a lot of other events every year our membership is in favour of a one day event. According to the IMAC rules, as long as we fly two rounds of knowns and a round of unknowns it would qualify as a points event. I thought it might be a good way to blow off some of the winter rust.

Any thoughts?

John and I have been talking about trying to hold an event at the KWFD field, we just know our club and the issues that will arise from it so were having a hard time trying to figure it out.

Changing Stetson event timing to August 15 weekend...avoids likely conflict with Amidair. Hope we can get them over to Ottawa to join in!

Well as of last night it's official. WRCFC will be holding a one day sanctioned event for all levels on June 13 2014. Wanted to do it on the 6th but was trying to stay away from Saranac. I will be filing the paperwork tonight. We even have some special plans in the works for lunch since we only have to do one. More details to follow but please add us to the event list.

The club voted Tuesday on hosting the NOIC.
We're in. The NOIC will be held in the Sault 2015.
