2mm Coro for whole wing?

I have just built a Dihedral wing of all 4mm and was wondering if 2mm isn't strong enough to be used to make the whole wing if it's run flutes chordwise.? I was thinking that the spar should keep the wing from folding up and help keep the shape. I know it wouldn't be as strong as 4mm but surely it would make a stronger wing than balsa and monokote! I also know that some are using 2mm for the wing top but how about the WHOLE wing?

any one try it?

This plane has an 80 inch wingspan and all 2 mil wing except the ailerons and tips.

SpadHawk, are you using the single spar? Also, do you sandwich the 4mm in between the 2mm to create the ailerons and wing tips?
