I have some plans

Hi

If anyone is interested,I have a few plans available to share.(no charge)

1/16th scale Hydroplanes suitable for electric power such as 4200 Kv brushless.

The plans are for Atlas Van Lines,Miss Notre Dame and a classic round nose from the '50's.

These are nice to build and a blast to run.I have built the Notre Dame and modified the Atlas to be a Squire Shop.

There are drawings for the running hardware or I have made some aluminum sets for these at a reasonable cost if someone is interested.

Maybe others have plans to share?

Hi Al,

Those are sharp looking fast electric boats. Is the construction balsa and ply? I'd love to get a copy of any plans that you'd care to share.

The plans state all balsa.I would recommend thin ply for the outside sheeting or ,like what I did, cover with 3/4 oz. glass with Z-poxy.

PM me your e-mail.I have the plans in *.pdf format.

You have to be careful when printing to ensure proper scale!

More

I also have plans for this hydroplane called the Hydromite. It's only 16-1/4" long! They used to be available free from Microhydros.com .Mine is set up with 6 cells and a 550 motor.

And also plans for a Crackerbox,a 24" mono hull,and a 20" long outrigger.

I built the crackebox in reduced scale.Plans are for a 4 ft.(1/4th scale) long gas power, but I cut it down to 1/8th scale for an electriv version. It would be really neat to run it with a .15 notro though!
