I have been getting alot of differant opinions about the 1/8 scale tucks some say that there is no differance between t-maxx and savage is th true? Also getting ready to buy a nitro truck and wanted some input. I have a few i'm looking at, Losi muggy, cen nemisis, hpi savage ss, revo or t-maxx. so what really is the better truck here, i'll mostly be bashing.

Na

Well it all depends on prefrence all the trucks you named are good but each one has it's pro and con's .

If your are going to race the revo is great , so is the Losi muggy both proven on the track , the savage is bigger than the t-maxx and stronger but harder to work on , both traxxas and hpi parts should be fairly simple to find at you local hobby shop ,

So to answer your question for bashing I would stick with the Savage ,

Can you put a biger engine in the savage? i know it comes with the 4.6 or something, I would like to start upgrading soon after i get it but the engine would be last. Has anyone seen or used the flextek arm kit?

Well, depends what you wanna do.

Get the savage or Revo, forget about the Nemesis and t-maxx.

And you can in fact put a bigger engine into the savage. The biggest is .32 so far, from Collari.

the 4.6 is a powerful motor, i wouldn't feel the need to upgrade if i had it.

The CEN Nemesis is an awesome truck, dont be quick to dismiss it. Its winning races in the states and is great for bashing and the track.

The CEN Nemesis 7.7 is the 'race' version of the Genesis

The CEN MatrixTR id the "truggy"(stadium truck)

2 different classes

CEN Nemisis = Standard MT class
CEN Matrix TR=Arena Truck(truggy)class

The Matrix TR looks very promising and i had a chance to personally view Gene Hickerson's(designer) race truck. CEN is on the rise!, in fact the CEN team has been posting impressive results at all the major races with this truggy. CEN is now distributed by Horizon Hobby so parts should not be an issue.

If you want a bigger truck and engine for your savage, go with the Truckzilla Conversion Kit. My Buddy has one and make my LST look pittyful.

the Truckzilla conversion gives you a hell of a lot more room to make improvements and space to tinker with.
