Rear Exhaust for TMAXX

Any thoughts on a rear exhaust for a TMAXX 2.5. I am looking at the RDLOGICS and Slimline. I may also soon be upgrading the engine to a 3.3 or an OS18.

Hey Craig. I think the THS pipes can fit a T-maxx, not sure, may want to check into it.

I have a THS pipe and header for my revo, just not installed yet.
I'm waiting for another stock header to break.

cheers,
Dean

i have a slimline its pretty sharp looking and slightly changes the sound imo its worth the $$$ jest to free up some extra air flow .. i also bought a larger airfilter to go with it

The THS pipe is awesome. I was reading about pipes and it seemed like most people were suggesting that pipe. I put it on my T-Maxx and it made a hugh difference, it will wheelie now. A Motor Saver air filter is also a very good investment. With that and the THS pipe the 2.5 will be much better.

Also if you're planning on upgrading. A pipe that works well with the 2.5 may not be so good for the 3.3 or OS18.

engine for Craig

Hey Craig,

I have a couple of half baffed out OS .32 heli engines, maybe you could poke one of those in your truck.....a bit of 30% fuel and that should strip some gears out...

I have a Tsais pipe ordered. I should have it in a day or so. It is a dual rear exhaust pipe good for the 2.5, 3.3 or OS 18. It is supposed to have a nasty growl to it as well.

I "had" an RD Logics rear exhaust for my Savage X. If you plan on jumping you truck with rear exhaust, make sure your jumping skills are perfect! If you hit a jump, and land it hard on the back end, you will risk crushing the exhaust like i did. Rear exhaust looks and sounds great, but can get damaged in a "bad flight"
