Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone out there has or knows where I can get a windshield (part no.1612) and a cowl (Part no.1613) for CG Cub Kit No.63?

I have tried Great hobbies, but the dont stock those parts.

Marc

Re: CG Cub windshield and cowl?

I tried Goldberg, then I ordered a Hangar 9 set for my Goldberg Cub.

The Hangar 9 set are a pretty close fit, easily available, and much, much cheaper.

Re: CG Cub windshield and cowl?

The windshield should pretty much be cut one yourself. Take the broken one and trace it on to a piece of thin cardboard like a cereal box then lay this on plastic sheet(LHScarries it)and cut it out. If you have no windshield at all then you need to ask someone on hear if they could cut you out a paper one from their windshield.Paper is easier to fold and mail

CG and H9 40 size cubs both use vac formed windsheilds.
The H9 cowl is nicer with "engine" vac formed in and painted, and the H9 Cub gear is much nicer.
All the H9 parts are cheaper, even when ordered from Horizon (I needed Saito parts at the same time).

Sorry, I should have specified 1/5 CG Cub (Aniversary Cub). Henceforth (after my parts search) to be called the adversity cub. 72 inch wing I think.

H9 also makes a 1/4, can't vouch that the parts fit.

Sorry about that my 1/4 cub and mt T Craft use flat plastic cut and bend to shape
