I have a LST 2 right now im just a basher, but i have read on forums and if you muggify you lst and do a few upgrades its a great racer. As for bashing its tuff as a rock i crash mine all the time drive it back to me and find nothing wrong, and usually if something is broken it aint much. Just my 2 cents

Now I have heard nothing but good stuff about the new revo, the shocks aren't so soft and a bit more torque, this is according to by bud who had both, he also has a savage xs and says the revo is better by far for performance but for bashing the savage, it is a little bit more durable.
