Expect a 172 inbound on Saturday afternoon to the field. Weather permitting.

Question, are you closing the airport? Or can full size still access? thinking of flying down to take in the meet for a few hours on the Saturday. Please advise.

Not closed. Please monitor Princeton frequency and give us a heads up @10 and 5 miles out and we'll make sure the airspace is clear for your approach and landing. If you park at the terminal, please take your portable radio and be careful crossing runway to the flying site.

Re: Princeton Jets 2017 schedule

Good turnout and the weather cooperated for most of the event. Lots of different jets from a HSD turbine foam F16 to a very, very nice Skymaster F104. Quality of flying was the best I had ever seen and there were NO crashes or hard landings! Quite a bit of new blood getting into jets which is very encouraging for the west coast turbine jet scene. See you all at the fall Princeton event!

Re: Princeton Jets 2017 schedule

Well Jean and I pulled in about 1:30 this morning after the long drive home. Unloaded everything from the truck and trailer and all arrived well this morning.

Great event with nice people. A lot of great flying by all. As Dean said a much uneventful carnage free event.

It was good to meet Roly and Rob, BC Zone director and Assistant Zone director respectively. Thank you for your good advice and offers for help in the future in conducting duties of the chair.

Great to see you Steve and we expect to see Julie at the fall event(here's to a speedy recovery girl, we all missed seeing you).

Thanks to Paul and Bart for organizing the 2017 Princeton Jets spring edition.

A big thanks to Paul for doing the maiden on the Tucano. No better guy to do a maiden then a guy that already has one. Bang up job buddy.

Maybe see some of you in Whidbey or Princeton Fall edition.

Bye for now Jean and Alan

Hey Alan,

Thanks for the note. You did a bang up job building that thing - made the maiden a no-drama event. Glad I was able to help.

Next time we need to get the Tucanos up together.

Cheers,

Paul

Re: Princeton Jets 2017 schedule

I see the fall event is no longer the third weekend of September. Is this going to be a permanent thing?
