Re: 40% Carden Edge 540 - BBT - Build Thread

After alot of debating, I've decided that I want to go with a scale scheme.

After doing a lot of research, I am down to (3) favorites:

Redbull - Kirby Chambliss
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Red-B...f6dcac6d76d599
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Red-B...f6dcac6d76d599
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Zivko...f6dcac6d76d599

Castrol Aviator Scheme - Newest Design

http://www.airliners.net/photo/Zivko...f6dcac6d76d599

Castrol Aviator - Old Scheme

In terms of a challenge, I think the Newest Design of Castrol Aviator would be the toughest to pull off (totally game to push the envelop of covering), however I've always had a thing for the Redbull scheme.

What does everyone think????

My non-scale scheme option is this (with an angled 4-square pattern on the bottoms of the wings)... this is the Blaine Austin scheme that is printed on Carden apparel.

I'm with Wingburner on this one - the new Castrol Aviator scheme is exceptional.

I'm liking the new Castrol design too. I like Kirby's plane too, but a lot of people use the Redbull schemes. The Castrol one stands out!
