I bought an engine test stand from hobbyhobby that I wasn't happy with. I sent it back and they refunded everything including the shipping charges. Can't beat that for service. They'll get more of my business!

Hi ; you can't beat that deal.

They are fair to the customer and that is why they have been around so long.

I bought my first r/c outfit from them back in 1991 at the Hobby Show in Toronto.

I've made the trek to Hobby Hobby many times and have always appreciated their service. Tom is a good guy to deal with.

I empathize with Randy's comment - they have a lot of inventory in a small store. However, I have to echo the comments about Tom - he has always been very good at helping me get various parts and pieces. Hobby Hobby is definitely my number one choice for RC purchases.

I do sympathize with you Randy but thats a pretty harsh statment saying the fire marshall should pay him a visit! I'm sure Tom would do his best to accommodate you. Have you ever taken the time to discuss your concerns with him? I'm sure he'd listen to someone who goes to his store as often as you do! Just my personal opinion but I think you would accomplish more along these lines talking to him in person rather than saying such a negative thing on an open public forem, especially if you haven't even talked to him about it!

Anyway, in my opinion, Hobby Hobby is one of the best Hobby shops in South Western Ontario and I do appreciate the quality of service, availability of supplies and reasonable prices.

It may seem.............

...that to the average guy that just strolling into a hobby shop to pick up a tube of glue may seem easy, but try it in a wheelchair and it's hell on earth for those simple things. If most shop owners would take a couple of second looks at their business to see if it is accessible by wheels, they may find a whole different story from Randy's point of view, and I'm sure he shops a lot in these places....especially AVF in London.

I've been disable since 1989 and I do know and appreciate the frustrations that one can go through. All I was saying is that if you find you need assistance, talk to the owner and explain the situation. Don't just sit back and complain about it, especially here on an open public forem if you haven't even talked to the man. I'm sure Jason will agree that this is not the place to vent this sort of discontent!

I believe that Randy and I are friends and I just asked if he had indeed talked to Tom about his needs at the store! Tom is a very reasoanble person and I know he would listen and do his best to accomodate any customer!
