Engine Problems?

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
So after putting some new blades on my venture 30 I took it up for a hover to check the vibs and track and after about 2 or 3 minutes the engine seemed like it was bogging down and I had to give it more and more throttle to keep it air born. I am not sure what this issue is, could it be a bad glow plug or bad fuel or running to rich or lean?

thanks for any help

I'm guessing the motor was a little lean causing it to over heat and bog down. Try opening the high-end needle a bit.

I would suggest that you were running to lean. This is likely a newer motor and the hotter it gets the tighter that the piston get in the cylinder. It may only take a click or 2 to the rich to make it run better.
