If you need some idea's on what to do to your savage to make it race ready, take a look at this thread: http://www.offroadrc.ca/showthread.p...newpost&t=3205

I'm doing most of the common upgrades to a savage to make it handle like a stadium truck. Last year my truck handled really well, but this year it will be even better now that I've moved the tank/battery... Plus my newest TVP's help a lot as well.

Sorry but there is no way a Savage can beat a Losi LST on the track. The savage is not a race truck. Believe me on this. If I had one I would show you. The savage is great for bashing but that is about it.

I'm going to throw mine on the track at bellevegas. The only thing I'm changing for this race is the tires.

LST that is.

Fair enough, your entitled to your opinion.

Mine however is that with the way my savage is prepped, I could beat myself driving an LST on the same track with the same suspension setup with the same tires. I believe that strongly in the changes I've made...

Sorry man there is no "no way XX X can't beat yyy". When down to racing it's all about the nut behind the wheel and how the thing is put together...different brand / model/ design matters abit when the drivers have similiar skills set. That's my 2 cents.
