Another SW Ontario IMAC Seminar?

In discussions with Ivan for the Guelph event it has become clear that there is more material and things than can be fit in to the time available.

Just to cover the judging portion takes most of a day for example.

Don M and myself are offering to put on a seminar (in my basement (near Dresden)) covering judging, aresti, unknowns, and flying for anyone who doesn't feel they know things well enough (or at all).

If there is enough interest we will come up with a date which is likely to be sooner as later. (Late Feb early Mar?)

The idea is to bring people up to speed prior to the Guelph seminar so that the things on the IMAC site registration can be focused on.

They say trees are 90% air. Personally I think they are 100% tree.

Re: Another SW Ontario IMAC Seminar?

Any day other than Feb 23 (club funfly) and I'd try to be there. Ivan sounds like he's going to be a little advanced for someone like me who's never even flown at his first competition.

K,

How's Sunday March 10 9-5 sound?

Our goal is to not have people do this instead of the Guelph event but in addition to. If you don't go to Guelph you will truly miss out.

Re: Another SW Ontario IMAC Seminar?

Don has generously offered the use of the board room at RM Classic Cars (401 and hwy 40 Exit 90) which will be easier for the out of towners.

We'll take up a collection on the day of and order in some pizza and wings or the like.
