Re: Article about DSSS vs FHSS (i.e. Spektrum vs FAAST)
I read through the whole first link and found the article very interesting. I also watched all the videos on the testing of the various systems and although that made me very happy that I purchased the JR/Spektrum DSSS system I wasn't really surprised.
I did a lot of research on all the various systems before making my purchase reading article after article and then my choice was clear. Both the DSSS and the FHSS systems do work well, I felt that the DSSS system had advantages about ALL the other systems. The XPS modules were not even a consideration for me. I wanted a dedicated system and opted for the JR 2.4 because it does have strengths that the Futaba FHSS does not have and the price was also a consideration. JR is more in line with my personal budget seeing that they are less expensive than the Futaba dedicated system. Not sure what to believe of all the hype about the XPS but it does seem very obvious that something is not right with the way it has been advertized to the way it actually performs. So far the JR/Spektrum system has performed flawlessly for me and the more I read the more I am convinced that I have made the right choice.

Same here Gary, I love my x9303 as well and have had no problems with it. I do remember reading a post on another forum about the Futaba transmitter having a much stronger transmission power though.?.
