Hi everybody,

Let's start afresh with a new thread and some news. Jim Daly and I have agreed take over the lead and co-CD the 2009 Nats that will take place in Ottawa on July 31st to August 2nd. We are going to work hard to make this event a great weekend with lots of fun and some special stuff too! This is all happening very fast so we don't have all the answers right now, but I can tell you a couple of things:

-The best way to show your support for the event at the moment is to pre-register at http://www.scaleaerobaticscanada.com . We are starting to make arrangements and go to sponsors immediately and we need your support & numbers behind us. You will find our contact information there and we will post all the information there as it becomes available.

- We are going to need help to make this a success and fun for everybody. If you are willing to take on 1 task or provide 1 thing (that's all we ask), please PM or email me. Let me know what you think you can do and we'll take it from there.

We decided that Jim will be running the flight line, judging and scoring the day of the contest and I'll lead the rest of the organization. Scot is already looking into banquet/supper locations (THANKS!!) and we have some logistical support from the Stetson flyers but all the rest is up for grabs!

Nous commençons avec une ardoise fraiche et quelques nouvelles. Jim Daly et moi-même avons accepté de prendre en main les Nats qui auront lieu à Ottawa, de 31 juillet au 2 aout 2009. Nous serons co-CDs. Nous allons mettre tous nous efforts afin de mettre en place un weekend rempli de fun et avec quelques éléments spéciaux. Cette décision vient tout juste d'être prise et donc nous n'avons pas la réponse à toutes vos questions, par contre, je peux vous dire les choses suivantes:

-En ce moment, la meilleure façon de démontrer votre support pour l'événement est de vous inscrire sur http://www.peneloperc.com . Nous commençons à faire des arrangements et à approcher des sponsors, et nous avons besoin de votre support. Vous trouverez sur cette page toute l'information relative à la compétition au fur et à mesure qu'elle deviendra disponible.

- Nous allons avoir besoin d'aide afin de créer un succès. Si vous pouvez prendre 1 tâche en main ou contribuer 1 chose (c'est tout ce que l'on demande), envoyez-moi un message.

Nous avons décidé que Jim s'occupera de la ligne de vol, des juges, du pointage le jour de la compétition et que je m'occuperai du reste de l'organisation. Scot est déjà à la recherche d'un banquet/souper (MERCI!!) et nous avons le support local des Stetson Flyers - mais toutes les autres tâches restent disponibles

Unfortunately at this time I have to work the long weekend in August but I am trying to get my on-call changed. I would hate to miss the Nats in Ottawa
