I think Trev should bring it here before it gets shipped. Of course, I'll have to land it because I know the field best and I won't put it in the fence.

LOTFLMAO!!!!!

Jim - your antics with the AeroTech and that Ottawa fence last year are known from coast to coast!!! That's why I like to fly when no one is around me - if I make a bob-boo, no one is around to remind me for the next year or two!!!!

Hope you've made it to Kingston by now en route to Montreal.... the 2L gas tank on this baby is full!!

Re: 126" Carden Extra 300 - BBT - Build Thread

Radio install and all wiring is done.

The PowerBox, batteries and twin Rx's are directly under the turtledeck for CG. Running up to the front (and wrapped in black casing) are:
* power leads for twin ignitions from twin Zues units
* servo lead for throttle
* 4 servo leads for each of the 4 aileron servos.

You can see pictures of both Zues units.

The plane also has 4 LEDs (1 for each battery & 1 for each Zues) and I couldn't stomach the idea of having these LEDs sticking through the plane so I stuck then through the radio tray, which are visible if you look through the canopy (just in front of Patsy's chest!) and into the fuse.

PHOTOSHOOT TOMORROW (Hopefully before lunchtime!!)

Your plane is officially done and she just got a coat of wax on all surfaces for the shoot tomorrow. After the shoot and weight check, it's teardown time and she gets packed up in the crates for the trip out to see you Monday!!!

Re: 126" Carden Extra 300 - BBT - Build Thread

Well, this is the last night the Extra 300 will be in my workshop (it's a sad time!!). Before she goes outside for the photoshoot and crating, I thought it was deserving of a few more pictures with that fresh coat of wax!

Trev,

Did you go OUT last night and hire some local "TALENT" for the photoshoot?

Is it bikini weather there yet?
