Aurora 9

Picked mine up today. My Christmas present from the rest of the family so I have to turn it over to them to wrap. They said I cannot use it until I open it on Christmas. I did sneak the maual out so at least I have something to read and plan with.

Re: Aurora 9

Nice, I wish it had been released about 12mo earlier or else I would of gone for it over my 10c. Let us know what you think of it.

Re: Aurora 9

Our club has it's annual draw for a JR 9303 2.4 this Wed.. So I'm waiting see If I might be the lucky guy ... But If I'm not, the Aurora is on my "to get" list... It was a toughy between the Hitec or the Airtronics.. Just that Hitec has such a good customer service record..Always had Futaba's but you know the saying, "kick me in the teeth once, shame on you " kick me in the teeth twice shame on me"........

Re: Aurora 9

Where did you find the aurora? Everywhere I looked they were out of stock. I ended up buying a JR 9303 after looking for months.

Re: Aurora 9

Well? Report after Christmas?
I'm eagerly anticipating picking mine up in a few weeks. Amazing prices with coupon for free rx and another for $39US. So 2 rx's for $40.

Re: Aurora 9

I always have at least 1 trainer type plane for introductory flights and a couple that I lend out to visiting pilots if they have not brought one themselves and I like to have these on a buddy box set up. So I will be converting one of my 2 Eclipse radios over with the 2.4 Hitec module when they become available. I looks like the module and 2 seven channel receivers will go for about $120 US. That will free up the Aurora for just my use. I am trying to find out if I can buddy box the Aurora with the Eclipse but I am not sure at this time. I have purchased several 7 channel receivers and will be starting to convert over to 2.4 but so far have only had it out of the box to charge it and scroll through some of the menus.
