a little help? CC 125 esc

So was wondering if anybody out there could tell me why I am only getting half throttle out of this Pheniox 125?
Is it true, I have to set the throttle to full for 4 seconds everytime it is powered up?

Thanks Mike

Get the CC link cord and program the CC125 or you can buy the special gizmo where you need a computer. i had few of those CC125 for F5B was like an on/off switch for the motor.

Thanks j-c

Did you have similar experiences?

Just as i get to half throttle it starts cutting out so fast it sounds like a
"rapid fire laser" is how i'd describe it.

I'm running it with my JS1400 in a het fan.

Re: a little help? CC 125 esc

Yeah i have set the ep's on the throttle, and programed it (throttle stick) ,with auto lipo, standard current limiting,no brake, auto throttle, low timing advance, soft cutoff, fast start and 52khw PMW switch rate.

Lipo's used are XPS 3200 5cells 30-50c,XPS 5000 4cell 50c+

I just don't know?

I've been using pheniox 60's with 2w-20motors in a # of different jets for years, but wanted to go REAL fast and have had no luck so far.

Mike. I'm running a PMW of 8 in my HET Sabre/JS1400. The JS1400 is a 6 pole motor and 52 seems high. If you don't have 8, try 12. Low timing is good to start.

Good to hear Mike, no pun intended. It was an emergency power run. Do post your numbers. If you make a change and get an increase in amps and watts, make sure you get a noticeable increase in RPM. If you don't get more RPM/thrust, all you are doing is creating wasted watts and heat.
