Angry Vision Ultra charger - DEAD!!!

Hey guys I hope someone may have some info for me. I have a NEW, its about a month maybe 2 months old. Chargered about 6-8 packs on it in total. Had it on charge the other day and it died.

Heres what happened, set it up to charge my GP3300 pack hit the start button and off it went doing its thing like it should. I turned my back to start cleaning the Savage from a weeks worth of dirt. When I hear a plunk, beep beepity beepity. Now the plunk was from that charges back end coming off a 2" block of wood used to prop it up, and the beep beepity was the chargers last cry for help. The display is out, the battery select light is out but the fan is running.

Now when I unplug the charger and wait a few mins then plug it back in it starts up like normal for about 5-10 sec then dies again. The whole time the fan still runs.

Now you would think send it back to Great Hobbies or Dynamite for a replacement. Nope cant do that!! Why you ask?? Because, me being the guy I am, I didnt like the fact that the DC power input cord was hanging off the side all the time, so I have the supplies Ill just mod that a bit. CUT SNIP JOIN GRUNT SWEAR GRUNT JOIN. There nice new plug. Now I can remove that cord when Im racing near 110v and install it when I need to charge from 12v. Well that word MOD didnt go down well with anyone but me.

So what to do what to do????

On another note since I recieved the charger back from Great Hobbies, who I loved up until this past few months, I noticed that there was a stand off inside the case that holds the PC board cracked off and a 3.5 to 4 inch crack along the bottom of the case. NOW WTF IS UP WITH THAT!! Confront GH about it. Ahh ahh duh I dont know was it like it when you sent it to us NO!!!! well ah ah ah I dont know.

I have never been so disappointed in a companys CS than I have been with GH. I have delt with these guys since 98, have spent more money than my wife would ever care to know about and now the just give me the screw ball. I have made COD orders that get billed to my credit card, I have paid for Express post and Priority post and it come regular mail. Order a part that was to be put on BO , ( two weeks they say ) well 2 months and still no sign. Damn this is getting way off topic sorry guy for the rant.

I hope some one knows somwthing of these chargers.

Paul

It might be cheaper for you to buy a new one rather then try and get the old one fixed.

Have you tried dealing with Mighty Small Cars in Halifax?
