Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
OK Based on the votes looks like I'll shoot for the 28th of Feb, still only one day I think as trying to rent two half days would be around $600.00 as they will charge you an8 hour rate anyways for each day.
I'll nail down a venue and post more info as it comes in. EH!

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
We are still undecided but would maybe do the Venice one. Haven't had time to research it fully.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
Bay City, being in April, misses the main point of getting away from winter here.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
OK that's just wrong. Leave ice to go where it's warm to be on ice?

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
The field in Bay City is around 700 ft one way 80 ft wide and the other runway is about 500-600 ft long and 80 ft wide it's just an awesome place to fly if you have never been there. April it is still shi$^##^y here so it would be a good practice event to see how your advanced skills are going to be.

Re: 2009 Judging School(s)
Ok so this idea came up.
How about a couple localized mini seminars prior to the one Jim is organising. The idea being get the newbies or any others up to speed on the basics of IMAC and reading aresti. Then, at Jim's, we can skip that and get right into the more challenging stuff instead of running out of time like often happens. Thought was this. Maybe Lee, Craig, Jim Bisson do a few hours with a bunch. Dave and Tom in the Ottawa area and I and Jim D in the Kitchener-Toronto area Thoughts?
