Yes I won't argue that Kontronicks and YGE are great esc's for extreme heli flying ( for a price). CC make a great esc and have good support and backup but there will always be somebody that will agree to disagree. For douple the price ; of course you should be getting a better product. My experience ( rather than " I heard" ) is I am very happy with Castle Creations and can't see changing brands ( my use is aircraft) . The big thing is USE THE PROPER UNIT FOR INTENDED USE and things should be great . Castle recommends using the Ice series (not the Lite version) for helis but no; guys will use the lite series or Phoenix and then bad mouth the product when it fails . Anyways thats my story and I am sticking to it. Scorpion probably makes a good product also but have no experience with it.
