Can someone give some feedback about this manufacturer? Do they offer a good customer service? It also seems like they sell FMS models. Can someone confirm that? And is there a canadien distributor for FMS models? As of now the only solution that I found is ordering from Motion RC. They offer a great customer service but the shipping is expensive.

You need to be an experienced builder to assemble these , instructions unclear. Its like Nitro planes.

Ive found them to be overpriced and I waited months for a multi-item purchase. Eng, gear, plane.

Hi priced, lousy service(waited over a month for a plane that was 'in stock'), got the wrong plane(not the color scheme I had ordered), and it was broken(fiberglass fuselage broken in three places, aft end broken right off, and the stabilizer and both elevators were missing). No the box it was shipped in wasn't damaged, the ARF Challenger ultralight was packed and shipped that way. Called them to ask for instructions to return it and was told 'no returns' but we'll refund you $50, which I never got. So fn pissed off that it's still in the box 7 years later, P.O.S. So many good companies out there to deal with that KMP will never see another cent out of me (and I've been in this hobby for 38years and have had over a thousand planes, and still have 80 or 90).
Deal with KMP at your own risk, and only if you've got money to burn!

I like the fact that we have (another) Canadian R/C source, but, unfortunately, I too have heard less than stellar reports about kit quality and customer service from KMP. For the prices that their company demands I would expect a higher quality product. Hopefully, KMP will pay closer attention to their Asian manufacturer and demand a better product.

That's interesting feedback to see. Last year their P-51D "Big Beautiful Doll" was featured in one of the US magazines (Electric Flight, I think). Even got "plane of the year" from them.

RC magazines would die without their advertisers so rule #1 is "don't hurt the advertisers". Usually, when they get crap products to review, they just shelve the review and we never see it.

I purchased a BBD V8 from Andrew last spring without any problems - Actually there was fantastic communication & serice. However I tried to contact him 3 times the past Sept because I was heading through T-Bay and was looking to purchase an FMS 3D plane off of him. Never got 1 response from any e-mails I sent.....
