Re: Durafly Skymule

I was also looking at this as it seems like a nice twin to kick around with and maybe experiment with auto pilots and FPV. But the almost $90.00 fee for shipping has nixed it for me.

Re: Durafly Skymule

As soon as the temperatures become humane again the SkyMule will be back out for more fun.

Re: Durafly Skymule

Oredered mine last week with the better props from Graupner.

Note: I am a complete Noob at rc flying (but pilot)and it looked like a stable plane to learn on and become my first FPV plateform when I can fly it properly from outside ( in a year maybe?)

I had a nice F4U that lived a shorter life than a mosquito in a pack of swallows......built, tested, balanced, tried and crash 10 secs later....damn those lil' foamies are light and over reactives 0_o

It would be great if one of you already flying it could do a short "how to Mule" for us beginners and future owners .
( like about : main issues, easy fixes, best motor/prop combo for long flights, how to fix the motors that are so badly glued to the plane , etc)

SInce it will be my first trainer plane I will WIP my steps of learning somewhere in the Noobs section of the Forum.
I hope to get many hints and helps from the ol' buzzards here ^^

Thanks.
