Well .. I guess everyone should do "battery direct on Chassis" ..
Why everyone put a HCG battery tray? a little battery holder (velcro or so) can cut some weight, and the battery can sit ~ 5-7mm lower!! |

The price is quite high.. the current one is about $300, and even the newest Durango 4wd SCT is about $370. $470 is a big stretch.

$470 is absolutely fine with me!
It includes all the hop ups that sepeately would be over 250or more on top of the 325 the scte1.0 costs. If you're a basher its not for you. If you're a racer its great. It comes with a body and two sets of rims (no tires) which is fine as we ALL use different tires anyways. The only downside is Horizon Hobby is releasing to Horizon certified partners first and my LHS isnt big enough so I'll hafta wait 2 weeks longer. Horrible that they pick on the small shops. soon they will all sell only Associated. And no I wont order it from Horizon i WILL wait for my LHS to get it for me...

Is it $100 better than the DESC410v2, I doubt that at all. It doesn't matter that it includes $250 in upgrades over the old ten-SCTE, it has to be priced competitively to sell well. The 22 SCT is also priced about $70 over the equivalent Durango truck.

Also wear and parts adds $$$ after... Like Durango buy for $200 and add $800 in parts every season... or buy great and tough kit for $400 and add $100 in parts..And other think is; $200 here or there makes no difference... with racing it always $1000+

Very pricey but yet VERY SEXY and awesome stuff
I hope they sale it anytime soon in the 329$ mark margin it would be a good alternative for people wanting to be more competitive |
