This compound has many uses, retails for $12 to $15 dollars U.S. for a10ml bottle. Can be used for many applications including r/c. (retracks and collars, press pins) Thanks again Jeff

The stuff he is selling is the retaining compound, not thread lock. It is green in colour and perfect for securing shafts to bearings and bearings to bearing blocks. That is a fantastic price though. Wish I hadn't bought a bottle at full price already last year. Don't use it often. HEHE

No it is not thread lock, but yes you can remove the part by heating the area up a little. There is many applications for this product, more for r/c trucks and cars than airplanes.( I have used it in my 4x4 buggy) It would be nice to get thread lock at that price.
I had a bottle for about 4 years ( still works after the expiry date) Just a couple of uses - fixed a press pin in a vcr i use to have - a shaft pin in a carb from my old truck - pinion gear on the motor in an electric drill - broken antana on the kids toy remote (ca would have worked also) Anyway everything mechanical does not revolve around r/c. I'm a home mechanic and have found many uses for it, use your imagination |
