The latest frenzy
The latest craze seems to be the Nitro models bobcat...a reduced sized copy of the real thing intended for 2 stroke glow power. They are selling like hotcakes and were out of stock for a couple of weeks. But they are shipping them again..
A few have already been converted to turbine... A lot people are buying 2 of them ( at only $129 US each...) one to get the feel of, and the second to go with the full meal deal - retracts flaps, turbine or ducted fan. more info here, if you are interested. http://www.nitroplanes.com/ I don't know if anyone in Canada is distributing them...

Bobcat
I've got one and it flys great. Its fairly quick with a .45. C.G. at 10" and reverse the landing gear wires so the wheels are'nt 6" from the C.G. Eric

they sure gobble up servos ,
2 for elevator 2 for rudders 2 for ailerons 1 for steering 1 for throttle and 1 for retracts if you modify you need a 7-8 channel or a bunch of regular and reverse y harnesses, but it really is a great flying prop jet...best $129us I've spent in a long time. Angus |

Hi Ramz, I did mix all the channels but if someone did not have a 7,8 or 9 channel radio they would have to start using Y harnesses, so even though it requires 8 servos you probably could get away with a 5 channel radio or 4 channel if you eliminate the rudders and use rudder channel for steering.
