Wink Re: Inverted training Part 2

Thanks, I needed a good laugh! Seriously though, are you putting much time on the sim before going live? I'm working on the sim now for inverted, and I would say it will be about a month before I attempt it live . Good for you though. At least someone learning has the kahones to try it out! By the way, your video would be a good advert for LawnBoy mulching mowers

Re: Inverted training Part 2

Ya I try as much as I can on the sim...but its only FMS. Its nothing like doing it for real. Because of the height Im trying it at, I cant really see if the heli is level. By the time the heli is visual enough for me to see it, I level out...but ive lost to much height. Ill get it eventually.
Thanks for the comment...always appreciate it.

Re: Inverted training Part 2

You need a good sim. Fms is OK to learn the basics, I used it before. Then I got Realflight, there is a big difference. It was like learning all over again. It will help with a better sim.

Thumbs up Re: Inverted training Part 2

may i make a suggestion ,
the way i learned is to do a stationary rol either left or right, that way the left and right controll is still the same and just the fowaed and back are different,
your also use to seing the tail toward you in a hover and rolling into it keeps the tail in (was a bit of a comfort for me).
other than that its all about stick time YOUR DOIN GOOD.

Re: Inverted training Part 2

Just about ready to try that with my HK Trex clone. I think I need some rubber blades.
