Of course I am not trying to cause any controversy!

But is a Power House with an electric motor, a different cowl and a few other small changes, ...... a Power House?

Yes it is Geff, as long as your flying doesn't really matter how.

Come down with Chris when he comes to visit.

Re: Power House Plans

I was over at Forestburg generating station last fall getting a load of coal & I saw a big sign with the words "POWER HOUSE" on it. They told me it was definately an electric one!

There you go Geff! We are legit!

I hope you don't have any trees around your field. Geff's plane seems to be attracted to them lately.

A true scratch builder only uses the supplied plans as a suggested guideline to assemble the plane. We always make changes.

Re: Power House Plans

I just wanted to know if there were any purists out there. I tend to think that the first build by the designer can be called "true". Every build after that has changes, some big, some small.

Bill, thanks for the invitation. Hmmmm ..... 1/2 a mile ....I should be able to hit that!!

Re: Power House Plans

Just build em and fly em guy's which ever way. There's not enough of us doing so to be picky on how.
I should visit a few clubs and take some along....sure to spark some interest.

Re: Power House Plans

You guys are going to keep rattling on about this thing until I build it, aren't you? In the last couple of years I have built three fuselages out of spruce and mahogany door skin. One was my 1910 Mono Plane, I will get pictures. I have used up a lot of the local hobby shop's spruce.
