Whats the real dif between SPMSA6030R and SPMSA6030 servos
What exactly does "REVERSED" mean?
At five bucks a servo (before taxes of course) it's worth asking, |

Lets revise the question a little
What is different to make these servos sold as "reversed" compared to the norm? Gears appear to be the same, is it a manufacturing screw up? Intentional use of a different motor or wiring configuration internally? |

one servo will turn clockwise (normal )the other will turn counter clockwise (reversed)when serving on the same channel ,useful on elevator setups when using a Y harness on a single channel. Roger

you can also buy a servo reverse lead(servo lead) that will change the direction of the servo, this is somewhat old tech as most radios have independent channels and the ability to reverse all servos.

You can take a standard servo, open it up and reverse it by changing the wiring internally.

Reversed servos are also used in servo operated retractable landing gear. One reason they would be 5 bucks more is that they are far less popular and assembled on their own production run.
