Local hobby store is near Walmart in Barrie, About 15min I think. In the Molson's Park area. Contact Spacecowboy regarding local clubs, he lives only minutes from base borden. In about a 45 min. radius you can reach at least a dozen clubs of varous sizes.

go to www.edenvaleflyers.ca . Our field is located near wasaga beach and is part of the old airbase. We have a paved runway as well as a grass strip.
Local hobby shop is Ideal Hobbies in Barrie

"Windypeg" to Borden? Are you military? Welcome to Ontario! Ideal Hobbies, mentioned in another post in this string is a great shop. Its located at the north end of Barrie, off Dunlop Street. I go there anytime I find myself in the Barrie area. Barrie has an R/C, but its name escapes me. If you ever find yourself in the North bay area, be sure to drop in at our club's field (NIPMAC) off Hwy 654.

Sorry. In my last post I gave you some duff gen. Ideal Hobbies is actually located off Duckworth Drive from Hwy 400. The hobby Shop is on Bell Farm Rd.

Great place to fly a kite! They also have a pretty good R/C hobby shop - Main and Cathedral Streets, I believe.
