Very cool motor. I'd love to see how it performs.

Re: Neu goes outrunner

Jason, would this not be considered "commercial advertising" ? Since you deleted my thread on making freestyle routine music at a nominal cost for modelers I just wanted to be sure I understand the policy.

Is Neumotor an advertiser on this site? I hadn't even heard of them until this post.

Please clarify the differance.

Sorry to hijack the thread.

Andrew.

Re: Neu goes outrunner

Don't worry Andrew, it's not advertising, I´m not affiliated with any manufacturer. Search for messages by me and you'll see a pattern emerging. See also the discussion this 'X-Era motors' thread about my 'spam' posts:
https://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=82478

Never heard of Neu-motors? Steve Neu is an American international F5B pilot who began his own motor manufacturing business a few years ago. Quality stuff, top notch like Lehner, Hacker and Plettenberg motors. But ... Steve was never a fan of outrunners, to put it mildly, hence the 'hell freezes over'.

Re: Neu goes outrunner

Well after looking at your link they seem like very well built little motors. I will have to order one for my next indoor build. Thanks for the info and by no means was my post meant to offend or accuse, only to beg clarification as to the difference in the two situations.

Cheers
Andrew

Re: Neu goes outrunner

Like Ron said, he's been posting motor info on RCC for years.

He usually has some interesting info before it gets to NA.
