Big kids

I wonder who spends more time in the toy sections, us or the kids.
I know I do, problem is the kids know it to and by the time we leave the toy section my wallet is short a few more twenties

Actually I was looking the other day. Crappy tire has them for $99 but I saw that they include the Lipo battery.

Wal-Mart charges an additional $35 for that. (might be worth comfirming before you take the plunge)

LiPo issue

There's going to be some irrattated kids this Xmas, the local Wally's doesn't sell the LiPo's and I saw a few going out the door in carts before I clued in and let the manager know that a LiPo pack wasn't something you could pick up anywhere here in Terrace or even Kitimat or Prince Rupert. Hopefully the mailorder vendors fill the gap before the interest is lost.

Not a problem for us r/cers, buy lunch time christmas day I would have one of my lipo's stuffed in there somehow like the one in the oven by that time and me and the kids would be outside ripping up the park.
Very sad though, all these toys should come with the batteries, charge and go.

I watched the video and this thing works well. I don't think you can go wrong for the money. The transmitter looks kind of crappy though...

I chipped in on one of these for my girlfriends brother for christmas. Unfortunately, I've heard several bad stories on here from people that have owned them. Mostly that the radio system they run on is garbage...

I hope it works out for him, he really wanted one.

I remember at the KW Scale Rally, they had a few of these hydrofoams (I don't think Air Hogs Brand). They looked really cool and a lot of fun. I remember the guy walking by and saying "flies really good for a boat, for a plane? Thats another question..."
