Re: Peak model extra 330L 50cc

I mentionned very poor packaging....

The model came in the showed box, everything inside was kind of loose, it included the engine box, that has been openned. Was missing the stabs tube. Sent an email and was shipped to my n/c of course. The model came without any damage though. The overall quality is a 7/10 ( to me )
The decals are just total crap....

But for the price with free shipping.....

Yes I would buy from them again..

Re: Peak model extra 330L 50cc

I hope that Peaks model does come out of the same Factory as the Third I bought off of Royal Aircraft RC last summer ... sure looks like the same type of packaging ... and cheap decals. I would suggest to you to go over that one with CA and epoxy carefully. My 50CC Extra 330L has been glued and epoxied where ever I could reach and it still falling apart! I also had missing parts ... miss fitting parts and so on. With NO customer service whats so ever From these Losers ... well it was somewhat frustrating to say the least! Would I buy one again ... nope not a chance ... the way I look at it is the plane is one thing but the engine and electronic components are worth allot more. Good luck with the plane Yvan ... she does have some appeal to her!

Cheers
Mike

Thanks Mike..

I did glue with ca and epoxy every place i could reached.... When I e-mailled them let them know about the missing tube, they repplied that they were shipping it... not earing from them, sent a second email..no repply again. So I have them on paypal dispute...Then they said please cancel the dispute will be shipping you the tube.. I repplied no, not until i get a tracking number... they did, got the tube and I cancelled the dispute....That's the story ...But, i think i would give them another try....

Mike, thank you..... took my time to do it.. this cowl is so thin and cheap...I had to reinforce it with fibre glass tape and epoxy just around where the bolts holds it to the airframe.

Also, i've decided not to install the pull pull system, going with direct servo and push rod for the rudder.

My MXSR 30cc is completed ready to fly ( pull pull system installed )

This way, i'll be able to make up my mind for future build, pull pull or not !!! will see..

Re: Peak model extra 330L 50cc

Good call on not doing pull pull.

done right, it can be just fine, but usually the supplied hardware/system is marginal at best.
I miss the good ol'dayz of soldering and such. But dang time consuming and tedious, good reason the old ways are gone
